So here we are: post-Covid. Hmmm - that is, post 2019. Hard to believe. And the body is now 4 years older, necessitating a re-think about one's capacity to do as much as in previous years - so the itinerary hopefully will reflect that.

Portugal and Spain was the plan for 2020 - and that plan involved A LOT OF RIDING. It was going to be a great trip but that plan has now been revised and the new one constitutes "only" 10 days' cycling in the Alentejo and the Algarve with a spot of cycling in Central Portugal in the Douro region and at Leiria.

So, as usual, a bit of pre-trip reading to get information (apart from what is on the Internet) plus some history and some fiction to get a "feel" of things.
